It’s a 3 minute Tuk Tuk (3 wheeler taxi) ride from the tourist center and restaurants or a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood can be both very peaceful and full of life, filled with roosters, dogs and music.

The center is located in front of the lake and mountains and the views of the lake and volcanoes are magical and breathtaking.

Eran Dolev

Eran is well known for his inspiring presence, emphatic heart, wisdom and insight. Since a young age he was called to the elements of nature and the philosophies of the Far East. Traveling extensively in India over a decade he went on different Yogic pilgrimages and through various initiations by Healers and Gurus in Ashrams and ancient mystical sites. Discovering the Yogi within and experiencing a profound awakening, healing and transformation in his life he eventually returned back to his homeland, Israel.

Looking to integrate the ancient Vedic systems into the western world he commenced his formal studies of Yoga, Ayurveda and eastern religions in academies and universities in Israel, Australia and India. Upon graduation he decided to follow his heart call to return to Mother India once again in the spirit of service. Inspired by his Yoga lineage emphasis on selfless service, he dedicated the following years to volunteer work in South-East India as project director at Sadhana Forest, a reforestation community NGO.

Following the inner calling he moved with his wife, Batya, to Lake Atitlan in the western highlands of Guatemala and resumed his practice of Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda. Sharing his many years of training, practice, self-inquiry and initiations, he offers consultations, Healing Therapies, Yoga & Meditation classes and facilitates retreats and training programs, while continuing his studies in the Vedic sciences.

In 2015 he founded Atitlan Ayurveda and in 2019 he co-founded Shamana healing center, where he dedicates his time to support peoples’ healing journey.

Batya Dolev

Batya followed a spiritual path from a young age. At 21, she went to India for the first time, lived in the Himalayas for seven years where she was initiated into the simple ways of living.
Dedicating her time to meditation, contemplation, while deconstructing all she was taught, healing traumas and wounds.
She then received the call to bring her passion for healing into a professional setting.

Dedicating her time to both conventional and non-conventional disciplines, she completed formal studies in homeopathy, alternative psychotherapy and B.A & M.A in social work.
After completing seven years of studies, she left her birth country of Israel once more to India, this time to serve, side by side with her partner Eran, as a project manager and community leader at Sadhana Forest, a reforestation project in Auroville, in the south of India. There, the needs of the volunteers in the project, on all levels, physical, emotional mental and spiritual, were her responsibility. Over those years, she gained many tools to support people on their healing journey.

After completing three years in this project they moved to Lago Atitlan in Guatemala where she has been living since. Giving birth and becoming a mother was a monumental experience that deepened her sense of service, compassion and love.

Over the years she established a thriving private practice in alternative psychotherapy and voice therapy, teaching yoga, guiding meditation, holding retreats and workshops, while she follows her passions of singing and dancing.
In 2017, she founded her clothing line "Shamana creations" which expresses creative  passion for beauty, harmony, colors and textiles.

In 2019, she co-founded Shamana healing center, where she dedicates her time to supporting people on their path of self-discovery, transformation and healing.
